Future of constituents in Hydra?

In practice the only real way h.n.o uses that is to expose a "is channel broken?" bit, as far as I understand, and channel scripts could be doing this check instead

compilation failure against latest lix release-2.91

What we'll probably want to do is to branch off for each Lix version as upstream does it. Perhaps even tags?
