This commit adds an optional `__impure` parameter to fetchurl.nix, which allows the caller to use `libfetcher`'s fetcher in an impure derivation. This allows nixpkgs' patch-normalizing fetcher (fetchpatch) to be rewritten to use nix's internal fetchurl, thereby eliminating the awkward "you can't use fetchpatch here" banners scattered all over the place. Nix
Nix is a powerful package manager for Linux and other Unix systems that makes package management reliable and reproducible. Please refer to the Nix manual for more details.
Installation
On Linux and macOS the easiest way to install Nix is to run the following shell command (as a user other than root):
$ curl -L https://nixos.org/nix/install | sh
