Describe the bug
lix is failing to fetch nar.xz files on build despite working internet connection
Steps To Reproduce
--keep-goingis not specifiednix --versionoutputAdditional context
Hi there, what is the occurrence of this bug for you? As there's no reproducer, it's quite hard for us to determine the root cause.
it doesn't happen every rebuild or update, and i think has only started recently-ish
is there anything i can do to enable extra logging or something?
i do find that retrying a few times with
--keep-goinggets the build to succeed eventuallyYou can do
-vvvvvon your Nix builds and we may have more information. You say this started recently, but you are using a Lix 2.92.0 version that was not altered AFAIK.There's a risk that this came off from another Nixpkgs component or there might be a problem with your system environment? (a network change or something?)
not altered, just installed via the documented way to install without flakes
it very well may be my environment/fault, unlikely a network change as the computer that was run on is connected via ethernet
Are you continuing to encounter this issue, otherwise would close due to inability to reproduce and missing information
